Harri Jaakkonen Becomes Head of Finland
04.06.26
Fortytwo is strengthening its Nordic presence by appointing Harri Jaakkonen as Head of Finland. In his new role, Harri will lead Fortytwo’s growth and respond to the pull in the Finnish market while continuing his hands-on work with customers and his contribution to the Microsoft community as a Microsoft MVP.
Harri is a recognized Microsoft security expert with deep experience in identity, access management, Zero Trust, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365 security, and cloud security architecture. He will support Finnish organizations in navigating increasingly complex questions around cloud, security, identity, and AI adoption.
“We are proud to share that Harri is stepping up to lead the charge as Head of Finland,” says Robert Darre-Nilsen, CEO of Fortytwo.
“He is taking ownership of our growth bet and building out Fortytwo’s next chapter in the Finnish market. From deep technical excellence to trusted advisor status in the Microsoft ecosystem, he is now driving market expansion.”
Senior specialists taking the lead
Currently, there is a strong demand in the Finnish market, and this appointment is in response to that need. It also reflects Fortytwo’s broader Nordic growth strategy and its belief that leadership should be grounded in practical expertise.
“This is how we believe modern technology companies should grow. With senior specialists close to customers, delivery, and the decisions that matter. This is how we scale, with experts taking the lead,” says Robert Darre-Nilsen.
“Harri brings the credibility of someone who has spent years working hands-on with Microsoft security and identity. That matters to customers who need more than strategy slides. They need people who can help them make the right decisions and implement them properly.”
As Head of Finland, Harri will combine local market leadership with continued technical advisory and delivery work. He will remain active as a Microsoft MVP, sharing knowledge with the community while helping customers solve complex technical challenges.
“I chose to join Fortytwo because I genuinely believe in what we are building and in the kind of company we want to be for our clients and our people,” says Harri Jaakkonen.
“I’ve worked closely with Microsoft product groups and engineers, led cross-border initiatives, and built repeatable patterns, automation, and operational playbooks that scale.
What matters most to me is helping clients get real value from technology, especially in the era of AI, by improving security, simplifying complexity, and reducing unnecessary cost without slowing the business down.”

Growing demand for Identity and Security
As organisations across the Nordics accelerate their use of cloud platforms, AI, automation, and modern security operations, identity and access have become central to both innovation and risk management. Fortytwo sees growing demand for senior expertise that can connect strategy, architecture, governance, and implementation.
“At Fortytwo, leadership starts with knowing the craft,” says Robert Darre-Nilsen. “Harri’s appointment shows what that means in practice. He will lead Finland, but he will also continue doing what he does best: helping customers, solving technical problems, and contributing to the Microsoft community.”
Fortytwo works across Microsoft Cloud, AI, identity, security, and cloud operations, helping organisations modernise securely and make better use of technology. The appointment of Harri as Head of Finland marks a further step in the company’s Nordic expansion.
